soooo, what now?

hey everyone, first off i just wanted to thank everyone who rated and/or played six steps during the GMTK game jam 2025! despite the fact six steps didn't win, i'm still thankful for this opportunity!
so, now that the jam is over (it's been a month since it ended, i know), what's going to happen next? i mentioned on the six steps page that i may expand the concept of this game if this game does get well enough reception. well, it seems to me that you guys enjoyed the game, which does make me pretty happy, so that means i can expand upon six steps and hope that people will enjoy it!
now here's a bit about me. my passion is to make games for a living. i want to make passion games on here. six steps won't be the only game ill be working on then that's it, no no no. i wont be entirely focused on six steps. i'll make other games here and there (they should be roughly 5-10 minutes of length which is great for let's players).
for the expanded-upon six steps game, it will be a separate game and will be recoded from ground up and will be worked on whenever im free, so hopefully there won't be any pesky bugs in that game compared to the jam game. what i want to add to the expanded six steps are:
- more secrets
- more endings
- adaptive music
- ERROR
- more days
- more interactiveness!!!!!!
- saves (?)
- spooky things
six steps has a bunch of potential, don't get me wrong, and i want to turn the game i made for a game jam into a fully fleshed out and fun game!
remember: i will be focusing on other smaller projects that still have some weight to them maybe before the expanded six steps game comes out, somewhere in-between dev, near-end or after the game comes out. really depends
anyways i'll end the devlog here. have a great day, all!
